The acceptance of initiative.
If no one initiates, then nothing happens.
If no one invited anyone, no one would come.
If no one introduced themselves, no one would know each other.
The world is built on initiative.
If no one built the house, there would be no house.
If no one made a path, there would be no path.
If no one manufactured cellphones, there would not be any.
It is easy to live off other people's initiative,
and never initiate yourself.
You grow up in a house someone else built.
You eat food someone else grew.
You wear clothes someone else made.
Yes you have choice, but you never have to initiate.
Your parents send you to do career tests.
You study for the career the tests suggested.
You work at a company someone else started.
You step into other people's work, and you add to it,
but you never have to initiate.
And then one day
someone asks you
why are you doing what you are doing
Then you start to choose for yourself,
but you still don't have to initiate.
You choose from the option that are available.
You go study a course that you want to study
You go work at a company that you want to work at.
But you did not write the course, nor did you start the company.
Yet it is easy to live off other people's initiative,
and never initiate yourself.
Choice is not enough.
Choosing from that which is presented to you is not enough.
We need to step out, risk, and create new options.
The world does not want to risk any failure,
in order to keep the status quo the same

The world does not want to risk any failure,

yet the status quo slowly changes.
So choose to live: Risk failure.
Take a calculated risks ;)
